Comments on Genesis 1:1

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (1611)

In the beginyng God created y heaven and the earth. (1568)

Realizing the need to take things things in their proper context, several things must be considered. This verse is normally taken merely as that the first thing that God did is create the heaven and the earth. God's word is from the beginning (Psalms 119:160). The beginning is, of course, when God laid the foundations of the earth (Isaiah 40:21; Job 38:1-14). This is not the beginning of the creation in which Adam and Eve were created (Matthew 19:4; Mark 10:6). The devil sinneth from the beginning (1 John 3:8). He was a murderer and liar from the beginning (John 8:44).

The beginning of Genesis 1:1 is obviously a 'period of time' sometime before the creation of Adam and Eve. It is during this 'time' that Lucifer was created on a day (Ezekiel 28:12-15). Before Lucifer rebelled he was the sum of wisdom and beauty. And the LORD God formed Lucifer of the dust of the ground (“every precious stone”). Lucifer's physical makeup was precious stones, pipes, and tabrets. In the day that God created him, the LORD prepared the built in musical instruments. Lucifer was God's “workmanship” and he played perfect and beautiful music in praise to the Lord while walking “up and down in the midst of the stones of fire”.

When God laid the foundations of the earth (with a cornerstone probably shaped like a pyramid), there were mornings stars and sons of God beholding the glorious event. The original earth had a stone garden named Eden and also the mountain of God with stones of fire.

PAUSE NOTE :

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

It is often stated that the gap theory contradicts Romans 5:12 by having death exist before Adam versus “by one man (Adam) death entered into the world”. This is such a great discovery that the real evidence is overlooked. If you must make that application concerning death, you also must make it concerning sin. Did Adam bring sin into the world as Romans 5:12 states? Or did Lucifer sin before Adam?

Another thing is that although Lucifer certainly sinned before the creation of Adam, this doesn't even effect death by sin by Adam anyway. Nothing died in the sense of the death of a human. All of the sons of God who rebelled against God with Lucifer changed form in their physical and spiritual makeup. Nobody died.

Back to the original earth :

God prepared everlasting fire for the devil and his angels. They walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. This fire was not prepared as a punishment. It was part of the original earth. The original musicians played glorious praise to God Almighty as they walked up and down in the midst of the fire. The Satanic rock groups try to imitate the original musicians, I guess. Lucifer set his heart as the heart of God (Isaiah 14:13).
